Police arrested a motorist for pulling a gun on another driver during a road rage incident near Green Lake on Monday.

Around 5:15 PM, two drivers got into a dispute near North 49th Street and Green Lake Way N. The suspect, who was driving a black Dodge Durango SUV, pulled out a gun, pointed at the victim, and proceeded to follow alongside his car.
The victim was eventually able to pull off the road, call 911 and provide information about the suspect.

Officers were able to identify the driver and went to his home, where they found his SUV. When the suspect came out of his home, officers took him into custody.
The suspect is a convicted felon, unable to legally possess firearms. Officers obtained a warrant to search his home and recovered the handgun. Police then booked the suspect into jail for assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
