Starbucks Down? Stores Across Country Affected By Outage
Several Starbucks customers reported via social media that their local stores were suffering from an outage.
Starbucks is suffering from an outage as the result of a routine technology update that was being installed to registers in the U.S. and Canada on Monday that led to the outage, the company said.
As of Tuesday morning, a company spokeswoman told Patch that a limited number of locations are still offline but could not provide an exact number of offline locations. Customers visiting their local stores on Tuesday reported finding that the systems were down.
Some customers said their local stores were offering free coffee to make up for the reported outage.
