• Handyman charged with stealing gold, silver coins from girlfriend (yakimaherald.com) — A Selah resident has been charged in Yakima County with first-degree theft and trafficking in stolen property after authorities say he took a large collection of gold and silver coins from a woman’s Yakima home. Court documents describe how police traced sold coins through several pawn shops, and the man is now out on pretrial supervision while awaiting arraignment.
