Emergency crews report dozens of evacuations and rescues across Yakima County and are documenting damage for possible FEMA aid, while the emergency operations center stays open with more rain expected.
   

• Busy West Richland bridge reopened after flooding (applevalleynewsnow.com) — Recent heavy rains pushed the Naches and Yakima rivers over their banks, contributing to flooding in Selah as well as Naches and West Richland. While West Richland’s Van Giesen Bridge has reopened with lane restrictions, the broader update signals improving but still cautious travel conditions for Selah-area drivers using regional routes.
