Free Concert, Light Rail, Game Time: Today in Shoreline-Lake Forest Park

From light to serious, there are multiple opportunities to check out in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

•Game On! Shoreline Library, 4-6 p.m. Ages 10 to 18. Play Wii and Xbox360 games at the library. We're turning the meeting room into an arcade complete with Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart and other games. Don't miss out!

•Light Rail Station Area Visioning Open House, 6:30-9 p.m. Hosted by Senior Services and sponsored by the Equity Network, this workshop is geared towards individuals and families on limited incomes to share their ideas about station area planning. There will be a free buffet dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, click here.

•Impossible Bird –Indie Rock, free concert, 7 p.m., Richmond Beach Library Park.
