• Shoreline Fire Department Regional Fire Authority lowers equivalent levy rate for 2026 while expanding service levels (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline’s regional fire authority plans to lower its equivalent levy rate to about $1.052 in 2026 while keeping total property-tax and benefit-charge revenue flat. Even with rising costs, the department will add firefighters, paramedics, and support staff, upgrade facilities and equipment, and expand community health and emergency response services for Shoreline residents.
