On Friday, July 30, 2021, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in and welcomed two new Deputies who are beginning their law enforcement career, and one Lateral Deputy who previously served on the west side of our state, to our agency.
Deputy Nerman Bajric is 30-years-old and originally from Bosnia but has lived in Spokane since 1997.

Deputy Jillian “Jill” Brant is 25-years-old and originally from Montana.
Deputy Doug Hicks is 39-years-old and originally from the Seattle area. Deputy Hicks is a lateral transfer from the Kent Police Department, where he served his community for the past two years.
