3. Obituary: Stull, Robert Okey ‘Buzzard' (wtap.com) — Parkersburg readers are noting the passing of Robert “Buzzard” Stull, 86, who died December 19 at Eagle Point Health Care in Parkersburg. The Harrisville native was a U.S. Army veteran, longtime mechanic and business owner, with services set for Tuesday in Harrisville and burial at Spruce Creek Cemetery.
   

4. Eric Barber seeking compensation for Jan. 6 arrest, prosecution (mountainmedianews.com) — A former Parkersburg City Council member, Eric Barber, is seeking $2 million in federal compensation after being convicted, jailed and later pardoned for misdemeanor charges tied to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. His attorney argues federal agents used disproportionate tactics and that hundreds of similarly pardoned defendants deserve restitution, with filings now submitted to multiple federal agencies.
