• Hancock County to merge Chester's municipal elections with county ballots in 2026 (wtov9.com) — Hancock County is moving Chester’s city elections onto the same ballot as county and statewide races starting with the May 2026 primary, ending separate city-only election days. Weirton residents already vote this way, and officials say the change should simplify the process and make it more convenient for local voters across the county.
