Despite founder Dr. William Mercer stepping away, the mobile clinic continues twice-weekly visits, coordinating with shelters to reach unhoused residents wherever they are in the city.

It’s a chance to say hello to familiar faces and help neighbors in need.

West Virginia man who assaulted minor arrested for failure to register as sex offender (wtrf.com) — A federal judge in Wheeling has sentenced a Wetzel County man to 10 years in prison for failing to register as a sex offender, followed by five years of supervised release. Authorities say he was required to register for life after a 2005 conviction involving a minor and did not update his status while living in West Virginia.
