Most SE Wisconsin Customers Will Get Power Back By Friday
We Energies said that 95 percent of its customers will get their power back by the end of Friday.
MILWAUKEE, WI — We Energies said Thursday that it would restore power for 95 percent of its customers in southeast Wisconsin.
The utility service said it would have crews working on or have restored power to all its customers by Saturday, the service said in its restoration updates.
So far the service has restored power for around 200,000 customers, the service said.

"We've restored power to more than 175,000 customers out of the 225,000 who lost power at some point due to the high winds, lightning and toppled trees," the service said.
The utility service has more than 1,000 people working on restoring power, including people from other states.

Utility service crews are dealing with extensive damages and blocked roads, We Energies President Tom Metcalfe said at a news conference.
Around 50,000 people are still without power.
