Da Crusher Weekend October 8 & 9
South Milwaukee wrestling legend Da Crusher will be celebrated with two days of wrestling fun, including stars, Q&A's, live wrestling & more

Reginald Lisowski was born in South Milwaukee in 1926. Lisowski would rise to fame as the Crusher in professional wrestling.
In a career that spanned forty years, Lisowski won many titles, including the American Wrestling Association Heavyweight championship three times. He also won the AWA tag team championship nine times, including five times with Dick the Bruiser. In 2005, he was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
The Crusher was so beloved, a life size statue was erected. On June 8, 2019, as Mayor Eric Brooks issued a proclamation officially making it Reggie “Da Crusher” Lisowski Day in South Milwaukee, the statue was unveiled to throngs of fans.

The fun starts Friday as CrusherFest and Great Lakes Championship Wrestling (GLCW) present Tales From the Ring, featuring Eric Bischoff, Madusa, The High Flyers Jim Brunzell and Greg Gagne and “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay. Held at the Bucyrus Club, doors open at 6:30 PM with an event start time of 7:30.

Prior to the Bolo Beatdown, special meet-and-greet guest WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff is appearing from 1:00-3:30.
Already announced for Bolo Beatdown are the following matches:

This will be an amazing weekend of wrestling fun. Many of my friends are making the short trip from the Chicago area to meet up with fellow wrestling fans north of the border. It'll be another wonderful celebration honoring the legacy of Da Crusher.
