When I last wrote about Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's Blizzard Brawl, only a few wrestling guests were announced. Since then, matches and even more guests have been announced.

GLCW's signature event, Blizzard Brawl, returns on Saturday, December 4 at 7:30 PM at the Waukesha County Expo Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Blizzard Brawl is THE big wrestling event for the year.

The wrestling card features eight exciting matches.

AEW's Serena Deeb & Haley J vs. ODB & Sierra

The Express & Kevin Thorn vs. The Gunn Club & Mike Curkov

The Dark Kloudz, Tony Gunn & Drew Hernandez vs. Luscious Lawrence, Dustin Jackson, TW3 and a mystery partner.

Each one of these matches interests me, but I'm especially looking forward to the women's tag team match. I am excited to finally see Serena Deeb in action. Despite seeing hundreds of wrestling shows, I somehow have never seen her wrestle in person.

As for the wrestling guest lineup, yesterday's big addition makes the already stacked lineup even better. TNA Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim is appearing courtesy of Richie Degregorio.

I have met Kim several times and she is always awesome. She is one of the greatest women wrestlers of all time. Kim by herself is enough to sell out this event.

Joining Kim and the stars already listed in matches are Al Snow (and Head), Jeff Jarrett, Impact champ Moose, Debra, D'Lo Brown, referee Aubrey Edwards, Rebel and Maria Kannelis.

SuperFriend David Herro will also be on hand. The Wisconsin promoter and proud father of “The Fannypack Kid” and his crew always do everything to make this a fantastic night of wrestling entertainment. They truly run a great event.

I have been to many Blizzard Brawl shows and it seems each one somehow manages to top the previous one. They feature a nice blend of young wrestlers on the rise, established veterans from several companies and wrestling legends.

Another aspect of Blizzard Brawl that needs to be mentioned is the fanbase. Blizzard Brawl draws fans from all over. It is like a wrestling family reunion. I look forward to catching up with fans I only see at Blizzard Brawl every year.

Early afternoon on December 4, I will meet some friends and make the trek up to Waukesha. We'll have lunch there and start debating the Blizzard Brawl wrestling matches. Then we will head to the Waukesha County Expo Center ready for another fantastic night of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling.

Tickets have been on sale a while and they are moving fast. I locked in my seat a while back. There are still seats left, but not for long.

Blizzard Brawl is about three weeks away and I can't wait. Until then, I will report any updates here. Of course, after Blizzard Brawl, I will recap all the action.
