Here Are Wisconsin Schools That Have Updated Masking Policies

Some Wisconsin school districts made changes to their masking policies before school starts Wednesday. Here are the schools that changed.

WISCONSIN — Some Wisconsin schools updated their masking policies before the first day of school Wednesday.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction recommended that everyone 2 and older wear a mask when inside a school regardless of vaccination status. But schools must decide on their own whether to mandate mask-wearing.

Some districts released concrete mask policies, while others based them on the scale of COVID-19 infection during the school year.
