Next Snowstorm Set To hit Southern Wisconsin During Weekend
According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm warning is in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm warning is in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The warning is for the cities of West Bend, Germantown, Hartford, Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton, Waukesha, Brookfield, New Berlin, Menomonee Falls, Muskego, Milwaukee, Whitewater, Delavan, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, East Troy, Racine, and Kenosha.

The Weather Service forecasts snow totals of 3 to 6 inches for Madison, 3 to 7 inches for Janesville, 3 to 5 inches for La Crosse, 1 to 2 inches for Eau Claire, and inch or less for Wausau and Green Bay, and 5 to 8 inches for Milwaukee down to Kenosha.

- On Saturday, a 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 5 p.m.
- Cloudy, with a high near 33.
- On Saturday night low around 27.
- Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- On Sunday snow. High near 31. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
- On Sunday night A 40 percent chance of snow before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 23.
The NWS forecasts the following for Milwaukee County:
- On Saturday, cloudy, with a high near 34 degrees.
- On Saturday night, Snow, mainly after 7 p.m.
- Low around 29 degrees.
- New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- On Sunday snow. High near 32 degrees.
- New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- On Sunday night, snow, mainly before 7 p.m. Low around 26 degrees.
- New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Travel could be very difficult due to snow covered roads and reduced visibilities, particularly Saturday evening and overnight.
