NFL Week 1: How To Watch The Packers’ Season Opener

The Green Bay Packers will begin their season on the road on Sunday.

WISCONSIN — The 2021 NFL season starts this week, with the Green Bay Packers set to kick off against the New Orleans Saints at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday. It will be aired locally on FOX Sports.

The Packers’s season opener will kick off a 2021 campaign in which the team hopes to improve on its 13-3 record from 2020.

The Packers-Saints clash is one of 16 games scheduled for Week 1 of the 2021 National Football League season, its 102nd. The season begins Thursday, when the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL kickoff game on NBC.

Two other prime-time games will be highlighted during opening weekend. On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Rams host the Chicago Bears in a game to be aired on NBC. The Las Vegas Raiders host the Baltimore Ravens Monday night in a game to be televised on ESPN.

Thirteen NFL games are on tap Sunday, with nine beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and four scheduled for the late window, which starts at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

In the CBS “Game of the Week,” the 2020 Super Bowl champions and 2021 runner-up Kansas City Chiefs host the Cleveland Browns. The game airs at 4 p.m. Sunday.

For the first time in NFL history, all teams will play 17 regular season games, as opposed to the 16-game schedule in place from 1978 to 2020.
