Pregnant WI Teen Still Missing, Suspect Car Using Multiple Plates

BEAVER DAM, WI — Authorities have issued an urgent update in the search for a missing Wisconsin teenager. The suspect vehicle in 16-year-old Sophia Martha Franklin’s disappearance has been using multiple license plates, according to investigators.

On the morning of Feb. 3, the vehicle was seen in Wisconsin with a Pennsylvania license plate: KGW5186.

Previously, it was reported to have an Arkansas plate: BBR 20L.

Police are asking the public to be on high alert for the black 2014 Buick LaCrosse associated with this case.

Franklin, who is three months pregnant, was last seen at her residence in Beaver Dam on Feb. 2 around 9 p.m. Authorities believe she left at 7:48 a.m. on Feb. 3 and is no longer in the area.

She is believed to be with 40-year-old Gary F. Day, who is the father of her unborn child and is under a no-contact order with her.
