Waukesha County 2020 Election Results: Trump Leads
President Donald Trump leads the votes for Waukesha County over Joe Biden.
WISCONSIN — Polls closed at 8 p.m. in Waukesha County, with President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden hoping to win Wisconsin and its 10 electoral college votes.
Trump won Waukesha County in 2016 with 142,521, over his then opponent, Hillary Clinton, who won 79,200 votes — a much narrower margin that the 2012 presidential race in Waukesha County.

Vote amounts are according to Waukesha County's website. As of 8:31 a.m. Nov.4 Wisconsin wasn't called yet.
Polling averages from RealClearPolitics show Biden with a 6.7 point lead in Wisconsin. Similarly, polling averages compiled by FiveThirtyEight show Biden with an 8.4 point lead over Trump. A Marquette University School of Law poll from Oct. 21-Oct. 25 shows Biden leading with 48% of likely voters in Wisconsin. President Donald Trump is supported by 43%, according to the poll.

Waukesha County is located directly west of Milwaukee County and 100 miles northwest of Chicago. The county is the third-most populous county in the state.

The county has the second-highest median household income and per capita income and the third-highest equalized property tax base in the state. The county covers 576 square miles and consists of 8 cities, 19 villages and 11 towns. The County Board is represented by 25 County Board Supervisors, according to the county's website.
As of the 2019 census, the population was 404,198, making it the third-most populous county in Wisconsin. Waukesha County leans largely Republican.
Republican Gov. Scott Walker, who was in office since 2010, lost his reelection bid to Democrat Tony Evers in 2018. However in Waukesha County, Walker won the majority of votes — 146,686 votes to Evers' 72,114.
In 2012, former President Barack Obama, a Democrat, won the state of Wisconsin and a second term in office. However, Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate, received 162,798 votes in Waukesha County compared to Obama's 78,779 votes.
