WI Offers $100 Incentive For COVID Vaccinations
Wisconsin residents can collect $100 gift cards after getting their first COVID-19 vaccine dose until Labor Day.
OSHKOSH, WI — Wisconsinites who are getting vaccinated for the first time are eligible for $100 gift cards, Gov. Tony Evers announced Monday.
Any state residents 12 and up who get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can get a $100 Visa gift card, Evers' office said in a statement.
Vaccine patients can collect a gift card from Friday to Sept. 6, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website said.

Here's how to collect a gift card for getting vaccinated:
- Get a first dose of any COVID-19 vaccine from a Wisconsin provider before Sept. 6
- Fill out a registration form so officials can confirm vaccination status and send the gift card to an address.
- Parents and guardians will have to fill out the form for their children ages 12-17.
- Provide an email address and a physical address.
It can take up to six weeks for a gift card to arrive in the mail, health services said.

“As our kids start returning back to school, and with the Delta variant spreading rapidly across the state, we all need to step up and stop the spread, and our COVID-19 vaccines are the best tools we have to do just that,” Evers said.
The $100 reward program will provide some support to those wanting to get protected against COVID-19, Evers' office said.
Proof of insurance, I.D. or citizenship isn't required to be eligible for the vaccine or the $100 reward, Evers' office said.
“The vaccines are extremely safe," health services secretary Karen Timberlake said. "They are highly effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death. And they are critical to protecting our kids, our healthcare workers, and the most vulnerable people in our state."
