Armed Man Robs Town Subway Shop
Robber escapes with cash after showing gun, employees tell police. No vehicle was seen in his getaway.

A man armed with a handgun robbed a Town of Brookfield Subway sandwich shop Wednesday night and escaped, police said Thursday.
At about 10 p.m., police said, the robber, wearing all black clothing, walked in to the shop at 19555 Blue Mound Rd., went up to the counter and pulled up his sweatshirt to show a handgun in his pants waist.
He demanded cash from frightened employees and as soon as it was handed over, he left. The restaurant staff locked the doors and last saw the robber walking toward the nearby George Webb diner. No vehicle was seen, and no witnesses outside the Subway saw the man.
