Boston Store Sues City Over Tax Assessment
Company claims property in Brookfield Square Mall is being unfairly taxed by the City of Brookfield.

Bonstores Realty One, which owns Boston Store in Brookfield, is suing the City of Brookfield, claiming the city is assessing the property $8 million beyond its worth.
The 2012 assessment was $23.6 million but the fair market value is worth $15.7 million, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
The company fought the assessment but it was upheld by the Board of Review.
