Brookfield 2022 Spring Election: See Mayoral, School Board Winners
Here are the winners for Brookfield's mayoral and school board races.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Polls have closed in Brookfield and now results will be counted. Patch is watching the mayoral race and the race for school board seats.
Steve Ponto is projected winner of the Brookfield mayor's office, with nearly 7,000 votes counted by the Waukesha County Clerk. A total of 11,865 contest votes were submitted.
Linda Boucher, an incumbent board member at the Elmbrook School District, will likely keep her at-large seat. Boucher won nearly 8,000 votes while her opponent Katie Rasoul won over 5,700 votes, clerk data showed.

Newcomer Kathy Lim was projected winner of the Area II seat at the Elmbrook schools with over 7,800 votes. Her opponent, Daniel Medeiros, was left behind with over 6,200 votes.

School Board Member, Area II Seat Elmbrook School District
- Kathy Lim: 7,803 votes
- Daniel Medeiros: 6,288 votes
School Board Member, At-Large Seat Elmbrook School District
- Katie Rasoul: 5,789 votes
- Linda Boucher: 7,984 votes
In a questionnaire to Patch, school board Kathy Lim said she saw the Elmbrook School District curriculum change. She said she had seen the same thing happen in Chicago, which was a point she drove in a candidate video that aired in early March.
Daniel Medeiros, a Milwaukee Tools engineer, said he wanted to make sure board decisions were guided by scientific and medical recommendations.
