BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield will host three closely watched races for office in the 2022 Spring Election: The mayoral race, the race for common council and the race for Elmbrook school board seats.

Voting day is on Tuesday. Here's the list of candidates.

Absentee Ballots, Polling Stations

Have an absentee ballot? Ballot drop boxes won't be available in this election, but residents can drop off their ballot at their local clerk's office, their local polling place or at an early voting location.

Here's how to return your absentee ballot in Brookfield.

  • Drop it off at the election clerk's office in person. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Turn it in at your local polling place on April 5. Check My Vote WI to find your local poll station. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Send it by mail to the election clerk's office: 2000 N. Calhoun Road. Brookfield, WI, 53005

Those voting in person on the day of the Spring Election should check My Vote WI for their local polling place. Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

State law requires Wisconsinites to have a photo ID to vote.
