Brookfield Area Runners Finish Boston Marathon
Seven runners from Brookfield and Elm Grove joined more than 22,000 people who competed on a very hot day in Boston. Check out their finishing run times.
Out of more than 22,000 runners in Monday's Boston Marathon, Mohieddine Barhoumi of Brookfield finished 3,320th overall.
Barhoumi completed the 26-mile, 385-yard course in 3 hours, 32 minutes and 3 seconds. That was about 80 minutes after Kenyan Wesley Korir was the first to cross the finish line with a winning time of 2:12:40.
Wisconsin's top runner — Jason Ryf of Oshkosh — placed 27th overall with a 2:31:50 finish.
