Brookfield Deli To Reopen Wednesday After Storm Outage
Danielle's Deli lost power for several days after last week's storms.
BROOKFIELD, WI — A Brookfield deli will reopen Wednesday after last week's storm took out power for five days. A GoFundMe was created to help Danielle Glavin, owner of Danielle's Deli, 15655 W. North Ave.
The loss of power meant food inventory in the coolers and freezers had to be thrown away.
Glavin was quoted on a WISN 12 report, "Everything had to go in the garbage," she said. "Probably a good $40,000 to $50,000 in inventory, between the freezers and the cooler, yeah. We filled up three dumpsters."

The fundraiser also said the owner had to deal with her staff losing wages.
"Danielle and many of her amazing employees are single parents working long hours to try and support their young families. For single parent families, this is a hard hit. Please consider donating what you are able to help keep this deli going strong," the GoFundMe said.
