BROOKFIELD, WI — The Brookfield Common Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday regarding a proposed tavern's request to remove a piece of right of way just past the side walk.

A right of way is the land next to a roadway where utilities usually lie and a city maintains the right to the use of the land.

The applicant, Celia Ceman, wants to merge the addresses of 2850 N. Brookfield Road and 18765 Hoffman Ave. to become one lot, according to online city documents.
