'Defend The Police' Rally Planned In Brookfield

The event was posted by the Republican Party of Waukesha County. Organizers said it's part of their National Weekend of Action.

BROOKFIELD, WI — As protests against the death of George Floyd continue to take place in the Metro Milwaukee area, a rally in support of local police and a call for President Donald Trump supporters is scheduled to take place this weekend in Brookfield.

According to a Facebook event post authored by the Republican Party of Waukesha County, the event starts Sunday at 3 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m.

"Join Wisconsin Trump Victory this Sunday, June 14, at 3:00pm in Brookfield for a 'Defend the Police Demonstration.' Supporters of President Trump will be coming together on June 14 to show our support and appreciation for their service to our community," organizers wrote. "Join us for our Defend the Police Demonstration during our National Weekend of Action to show your thanks and support of our men and women in law enforcement."
