Elmbrook 2020 Summer School Moves Ahead With Changes
District officials say there will be several changes this year due to the public health emergency orders that are still in effect.

BROOKFIELD, WI — With Gov. Evers' order that schools remain closed through June 30, Elmbrook officials are working on how to run the 2020 summer school program.
District officials say there will be several changes this year due to the public health emergency orders that are still in effect as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

- Elmbrook officials say they're moving ahead with most 9-12 summer school courses.
- Courses will be administered online through a virtual learning model and will run during the originally scheduled time frame of Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 24 with no classes on Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 6.
- Students currently enrolled in these courses will remain enrolled.
K-8 Offerings
- Elmbrook officials say K-8 summer school registration is tentatively scheduled to open on May 26. The K-8 program will have a number of changes this summer.
- All K-8 enrichment programming will be cancelled.
- The Elmbrook K-8 summer school program will now run from July 6-31.
- Access to first through eighth-grade literacy and mathematics programming will be expanded.
- All courses will be administered online through a virtual learning model.
- Kindergarten and first grade momentum courses will be postponed until August, with tentative dates of Aug. 10-21.
