Elmbrook Humane Society's Wagfest Coming To Brookfield
The Wagfest event will return to Brookfield's Mitchell Park in person.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Elmbrook Humane Society's Wagfest returns in person from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11 at Mitchell Park, 19900 River Road.
In 2020 the festival shifted to a virtual event because of the pandemic.
Admission is free to everyone.

People are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the park to help raise money to support the society's mission, which is serve animals and people in the community.
For the dogs, Wagfest will feature the following.

- Lure courses.
- An agility demonstration and practice arena.
- A "Zoomie Zone."
The festival will also include food, live music from The Bar Downs, shopping and several different raffles. The society's merchandise tent will offer new Elmbrook Humane Society gear for sale, and 50/50 raffle drawings will take place every two hours. The Tower of Beer and Wheelbarrel of Booze raffles will also return.
“This is far and away our most popular event every year, drawing as many as 7,000 people and their dogs. Being able to come back to an in-person format really brings the magic back to the event and gives us a chance to host a wonderful day in the park for our supporters and the community at large," Heather Gehrke, executive director at Elmbrook Humane Society, said in a statement.
