Garbage Pickup Delays Expected In Brookfield
Waste Management, the city's waste collection and disposal service, said Thursday it is short-staffed.
BROOKFIELD, WI — City of Brookfield residents should expect garbage and recycling pickup delays on Thursday, according to an email from Waste Management to city staff.
"The crews are short staffed today. Please expect routes to be delayed today. We will send out an update later in the day if needed," the email said.
Residents were encouraged to leave their garbage and recycling out until it is picked up, even if trucks are late or miss the day entirely, according to Alderman Brad Blumer.
