Infrared Sauna Therapy Studio Opening In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, WI — An infrared sauna therapy studio will open its first Wisconsin location in Brookfield. Perspire Sauna Studio, 15455 W. Blue Mound Road, opens Monday.

The studio offers what it called "infrared sauna therapy" and "color light therapy," which it said helps promote relaxation and stress relief, detox the body, burn calories, improve sleep and ease pain, according to BizTimes.

The studio said it offers a private room and personalized treatments and entertainment. Guests choose from an array of color light therapy colors, premium entertainment options and temperature settings.

Perspire’s Brookfield location is owned by Jessica and Tom Kurz, who made use of infrared light therapy after Jessica Kurz was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, BizTimes reported.
