Man Arrested After I-94 Accident Near Barker Road Tuesday
The Wisconsin State Patrol said a Trooper found the driver of a vehicle passed out after crashing on I-94 in Waukesha County.
BROOKFIELD, WI — A 26-year-old New Berlin man has been arrested following a traffic accident that snarled I-94 in the Brookfield area Tuesday morning, the Wisconsin State Patrol said.
Authorities said a State Trooper on patrol watched as a sport utility vehicle crashed into the median wall in the westbound lanes of I-94 near Barker Road just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
When the trooper walked up to the disabled vehicle, he reported the driver appeared to be unconscious, a press release stated.

According to officials, the trooper managed to open the vehicle's door, he administered Narcan - a powerful drug reversal agent.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the man was revived after receiving Narcan. He was transported to Elmbrook Memorial Hospital where he was evaluated by a drug recognition expert, authorities said.

Officials said the man was medically cleared at Elmbrook, and booked into the Waukesha County Jail on suspicion of his fourth impaired driving offense.
