MILWAUKEE, WI — A popular grocery store chain in Wisconsin is limiting how much meat customers can buy, citing supply chain issues at U.S. meat processing plants that saw coronavirus outbreaks.

Kroger, the parent company that owns Pick 'n Save and Metro Market stores located throughout Wisconsin, announced they are putting purchasing limits in place on certain types of meats.

According to multiple reports, the limits are on ground beef and fresh pork. Store officials also said they anticipate running low or out of stock on several types of meat in the near future - and that the shortages will only last for one to two weeks.
