Pizza Delivery Workers Fight Over Routes

A Domino's employee accused a coworker of having a knife in his pocket.

Pizza deliveries paused Friday night as police mediated a dispute between two workers who argued over delivery routes and a knife.

According to police reports:

Officers were called about 7 p.m. Friday by a pizza delivery man at , 17305 W. Capitol Drive.

He wanted officers to search him and verify he didn't have a knife on him.

About 15 minutes earlier, he had been behind the business with a coworker, arguing about delivery routes. The coworker went inside and accused him of threatening him with a knife.

He later told police he saw a blue handle in the coworker's hand and thought it was a knife but was not certain.

A manager sent one home. Officers told the two to stay away from each other and urged that the two be assigned to work on different shifts or one be let go to avoid any altercations.
