Police Inbox: More Reports of Stolen Mail
Mailboxes are being targeted wherever they line the roads, with thieves taking things of no more than sentimental value to the owners.

There have been many reports recently of mail being stolen from roadside mailboxes, including these two, both on May 28:
A resident of the 500 block of Hi View Drive reported that overnight someone had stolen his mail from his box. He was missing his grandson’s graduation pictures and three greeting cards. The three cards were found in a nearby storm sewer and returned to him. He said mail had also been stolen from him on May 6.
A resident of the 15200 block of Burleigh Road reported her outgoing mail stolen and said it was the third time since April, when her mail was found in a neighbor’s yard. This time, she said, a credit card payment was taken and has not been recovered.
