Service Alert: Snow, Messy Roads Delay Brookfield Trash Pickup

Due to snow and poor road conditions, trash and recycling pickup is significantly delayed, Brookfield officials said Monday.

"We will make every attempt to service our customers, however, safety is our priority," said a news alert. "Please be sure to salt your driveways and/or parking lots, as well as remove any accumulating snow."

Residents or commercial accounts with steep driveways or hills will not be serviced unless Advanced Disposal - Hartland crews deem conditions safe. Residential up-the-drive customers are asked to place their material at the roadside to ensure service.

"Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding during this time," said the notice.
