Town Board Delays Shake Shack Discussion In Brookfield
The proposal will be considered during the Plan Commission meeting on Oct. 26.
BROOKFIELD, WI—A discussion on a possible Shake Shack restaurant in Brookfield was tabled during the Brookfield Town Board meeting on Oct. 5, according to Tom Hagie, the town administrator.
Hagie told Patch additional information related to traffic and site layout was requested by town board members.
Hunter Development Group applied in June to build a Shake Shack at 585 N. Barker Road, the site of a former Perkins Restaurant.

The proposal received a recommendation for final approval at Wednesday's Architectural Control Committee meeting.
"The project plans and recommendation for approval from the ACC continue to move through the approval process and will return to Plan Commission on Oct. 26 for consideration," Hagie said.
The new Shake Shack would be the chain's third Wisconsin location.
