After two years of success, Bayside is hosting its third annual Spring Clean-Up Day this Saturday outside .
Residents can dispose of just about everything but the kitchen sink. There will be a monster paper shredder on site from 12 to 2 p.m., and residents can also bring the following:
- Excess garbage and recycling
- Dehumidifiers
- Televisions
- Used motor oil
- Latex paint, but preferably dried
- Old cell phones and ink cartridges
- Scrap metal
- Computer equipment and accessories
The also regularly collects expired or unwanted prescription drugs. These can also be disposed of on Saturday. They'll take any over-the-counter medications, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials and pet medications. But they cannot accept needles, bio-hazardous materials, personal care products or household hazardous waste.
