Bayside Earns Impressive Spot on Wisconsin's List of Safest Places
Bayside's 2017 ranking on The SafeWise Report's Safest Cities in Wisconsin list certainly trumps its 2016 one.
The village of Bayside is moving on up — on the list of Wisconsin's safest places, that is.
The community not only scored a spot, once again, in The SafeWise Report's 2017 Safest Cities in Wisconsin, but landed in the top quarter. The village moved from 2016's 18th ranking to an impressive fourth place.
SafeWise compiles its rankings by analyzing FBI statistics on violent crime and property crime. Data is then used to project the likelihood of those crimes occurring out of 1,000 people.

The 2017 report pegs Bayside's violent crimes per capita at zero and its property crimes per capita at 3.62. Oconomowoc Town topped the list, with its violent and property crimes coming in at .12 and 2.2, respectively.
