Bayside Panty-Raider Strikes Again

A Bayside couple has been the victim of what they affectionately call "Panty-Gate" yet again when they woke up Tuesday morning to a colorful display of underwear on their front lawn.

Panty-Gate struck Chris and Susan Nolte's Bayside home again Tuesday when the awoke to find a colorful display of underwear adorning their front lawn and a sign that says, "April showers bring May bloomers." And while the identity of the infamous Bayside Panty Raider is still unknown, those bidding at the Saturday may get to find out.

"My husband, Chris, woke me up this morning and announced that the Bayside Pantyraider had struck again!" Susan said. "He pulled up the blinds on our bedroom window and I hopped out of bed to check out the new display. I love it!"

Susan said she's not quite sure exactly who it is, but she has her suspicions.

Jean Bernstein is on the committee for the Bash and said she was approached by the Bayside Panty Raider. They said that if the bidders at the Bash raised $200, which would be donated to the MDIH School District, they would reveal their identity.

"I think it's a wonderful idea because at this point so many people are following this story and I think we would all love to be able to applaud his or her efforts in person, plus it will help raise money for our awesome school district," Susan said.

However, not everyone is so excited for the PG13 display in the Bayside neighborhood. Susan said one neighbor complained to Bayside police and they had to remove the artistic creation. But Susan says she doesn't consider this a nuisance at all, in fact, it's bringing the community even closer together.

"I love hearing stories about people in the neighborhood questioning each other to try and figure out who is doing it," Susan said. "I look forward to next year and hope more people will be inspired to have fun with each other and come up with new creative pranks!"
