Car Fire Slows Tuesday Commuters

Tuesday morning commuters had a slow ride to work when a vehicle fire closed two lanes of traffic on southbound Interstate 43.

The , and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to the 7:51 a.m. call to find a smoking vehicle on the right shoulder of I-43 near the East Brown Deer exit.

All occupants got out safely as the vehicle smoked, just before it went up in flames.

Lanes began to be reopened around 8:30 a.m.
