Car Window Smashed for Purse Grab at SANC
Thief got away with her social security card, a $100 savings bond, debit card and more.

A 36-year-old woman was the victim of a car break-in at the Tuesday morning.
She told she had arrived at the center to drop off her daughter and parked in the lot, next to the employee parking lot at 8:25 a.m. About 20 minutes later, another woman came into the center and told her that the driver-side window had been shattered.
According to the police report, the window was shattered and small pieces of glass were on the passenger and driver seat, as well as on the ground next to the vehicle. Her purse, valued at $30, had been stolen. The damage to the window was estimated at $180. She also lost her driver’s license, social security card, library card, a savings bond for $100, an debit card and $17 in cash.
