Does Your Mom Deserve a Break? Enter Our 'Why My Mom is Best' Contest

Your mom was been there to kiss your tears away as a child, and to help you wrestle with life’s tough questions as you grew older. She’s special – and you want her to know it.

Tell her story of mom-greatness on Patch and she could win a day away to kick back and relax with our "Why My Mom is Best" ultimate Mother's Day package. 

This ultimate Mother's day package includes a one-night stay at Brookfield Suites Hotel, shuttle to, and a dinner for two at Carrabba’s Italian Grill and a mani-pedi, or $68 toward any other spa service at Merle Norman at Brookfield Square.

Just upload a photo of your mom or other mother figure in your life – grandma, foster mother, mother-in-law – and tell us in the caption of the photo why the mom in your life rocks. Be sure to tell us what community you and your mom live in, too.

Tell us what makes your mom special. Maybe she has never missed one of your band concerts or football games. Or she still makes you chicken noodle soup when you’re a little under the weather (even though you’re 35 years old). Every time you visit home, is your favorite meal waiting on the table? Or she offers to babysit the kids so you can have a night out with your significant other. Aww, she’s the best, isn’t she? Just tell us why. (Our deadline is May 12.)

The winner will be selected by Patch staff and an additional top three runners-up will receive a Patch prize basket.

OK, now for the rules (that's right, we gotta have rules):

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
• To enter, upload a photo and tell us why you love your mom in the caption. 
• All entries must be received by 9 p.m., May 12, Central time.
• You may enter once.
• One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a single night stay at the Brookfield Suites hotel. Approximate Retail Value approximately $124. The top three runners-up will receive Patch prize baskets valued at $25.
