'Charlotte's Web' at Cardinal Stritch

The Theater Department’s annual children’s show will be national award-winning children’s playwright Joseph Robinette’s adaption of E. B. White’s β€œCharlotte’s Web” with music by Charles Strouse.

This joyous musical includes, β€œEating,” Wilbur the Pig’s humorous yet poignant song about growing up, β€œWho Says We Can’t Be Friends,” an enchanting duet between Wilbur and his new-found companion Charlotte, β€œWelcome to the Zuckerman Barn,” featuring all the story’s unforgettable animals in a hand-clapping, toe-tapping hoe-down, and β€œSummer,” a haunting, nostalgic chorus number which evokes a time and place from everyone’s childhood.

Shows are Jan. 22, 28 and 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.
