Lipscomb Loses in Third Attempt for Circuit Bench

Stark and Phillips move on to April 3 general election.

For the third time in a row, Glendale Municipal Judge Chris Lipscomb was pushed out of the spring election after losing in a primary on Tuesday night, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article.

That means State Administrative Law Judge Carolina Maria Stark and incumbent Circuit Judge Nelson Phillips III will move on to the April 3 election.

New Voter ID Law leaves few problems

The 2012 Spring Primary was the first election to fully implement the new voter ID law. Both Fox Point and Bayside reported little, to no problems with the new law, saying only a couple people had to go back to their car or home to grab an ID.

"Things went great in Bayside," Lynn Galyardt, Director of Business Administration for Bayside said. "We had two voters who didn't have proper ID, however they were able to go home and come back with the correct photo ID and vote."
