UPDATE: Missing 17-Year-Old is from My Hometown is Found Safe

Please help spread the word so we can find Arianna.

Updated 1:50 p.m. Tuesday: A 17-year-old Howards Grove girl, Arianna Huhn, was located and returned safely home Tuesday after going missing for nearly a week, according to her mother.

Normally, that's not the kind of news that we would report on Fox Point-Bayside Patch, but I grew up in Sheboygan and have many friends and family there. According to Facebook posts from Arianna's mother, Carrie Stuckman (@candidcarrie):

"We are still trying to piece things together, but she is now safe and back home. Thanks for all of the prayers, good wishes, thoughts, messages, millions of tweets and thousands of facebook posts!"

She was not in the house when the family woke up Thursday morning, however, her coat, backpack and money was all still in the home.

There was no school Thursday or Friday, so her whereabouts can be traced up until Thursday morning and then her cell phone stopped working. No one is sure if it died, was lost or was purposefully turned off. Everyone from Arianna's cell phone records had been contacted, but no one had any additional information about her whereabouts.

In a Facebook post, Carrie explains that there weren’t any issues at home and that Arianna had even just received the cell phone as a gift for her 17th birthday earlier this month.

In another Facebook post, Carrie says that the most up-to-date information the family has is the Arianna left the house without her mother's knowledge sometime Wednesday night. She tried to sneak back into the house after 4 a.m., however, when the dogs started barking she left again. No one has seen her since mid-morning Tuesday.
