Nicolet Tech Ed Teacher Gets Tased for Student Education

The Glendale Police Department has hosted the Youth Police Academy and will soon have their final class. But just last week, the class learned about Tasers and got to watch first hand what it's like when someone's stunned.

Adam Thiel, a technology education teacher at , volunteered to be the victim of the stunning experiment and described the event as one's muscles constricting and relaxing hundreds of times over and over again. He said that after the Taser was turned off and the barbs removed, he only felt like he had done 100 push-ups.

The final class will be Wednesday where the students will get to participate in a graduation ceremony, receive a certificate of completion and enjoy a pizza party.
