Poll: Are Gift Cards Efficient or Impersonal?
National Retail Federation says gift cards at the top of consumer wish lists for five years now.

While some waited in line for hours outside for Black Friday deals, and others take a warmer approach, sitting in front of their computers today for Cyber Monday, others avoid all the hustle and bustle by giving gift cards instead.
In an article by Time Magazine, most retailers prefer giving gift cards over cash, but Time also took a look at shoppers giving gift cards. The article says that the National Retail Federation reports gift cards have been the top item on consumer wish lists for five years in a row.
"I would rather have a gift card because I don't want people to buy me anything or go overboard," David Norcross of Fox Point said in a Facebook post. "A gift card can say a thousand words if you know the people you are buying it for."
