Sticky Situation: Vandal Strikes Maple Dale School

Students received a real surprise one morning last week when they arrived at Maple Dale Middle School to find multiple pieces of paper glued to the outside of the building.

Fox Point police arrived at about 8 a.m. Sept. 27 to find the paper glued to the front entrance with the words: "Awesome," "Happens," "Everyday" and "Blogspot.com." There was also a picture of eye glasses glued to the school's cement facade.

The total damage is estimated at $50. Surveillance footage showed someone approaching the front entrance and gluing down the paper. An 18-year-old man from Fox Point was apprhended in connection with the incident.
