Village Scrapbook: '50s Day at Indian Hill School

Students celebrated the 50th day of school with a 1950s-themed day.

Complete with poodle skirts, scarves and a little Grease lightning, students at celebrated their 50th day of school Tuesday. But it wasn't just a fashion show, students also got to try candy that was popular in the 1950's like Mike and Ike, and gum that the students said wasn't quite as tasty as today's flavors.

Editor's Note: Do you have a picture showcasing you or your family (pets included)? We want to paint a picture of what it's like to be a Bayside or Fox Point resident. If you have a picture you'd like us to use in our Village Scrapbook, email editor Sarah Worthman at: sarah.worthman@patch.com.
